Sandal Adjustment

I recently bought a pair of Sam Edelman for American Eagle sandals. I got a size 6 and length-wise it fits me, but the straps were loosely wrapped around my ankle so it always slipped off. I asked a few people for their opinion on what I should do to fix it. This is what I came up with:

It was simple, all I needed was a nail and hammer. I put newspaper underneath to protect the floor just in case. This was truly a quick fix!
